What we do
Our vision is to empower survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and stalking. We do this through the delivery of a variety of innovative services and projects, including:
- One to one work and advocacy
- Group support programmes
- Helplines
- Specialist training programmes
- Partnership work with other services
Our services are open to those aged 16 and over who are experiencing, or who are at risk of experiencing, domestic abuse, sexual violence or stalking. You can find out more about what we offer under ‘support’ in the main menu.
Interested in training? You can find out more about the training we offer here.
Is our support just for women?
No, we offer services to anyone, and every victim who works with us receives the same high-quality, specialist support.
In line with global statistics, and the prevalence of Male Violence against Women and Girls (MVAWG), the majority of our clients are female, but we support male victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking across all our one to one services.

Space to heal
We believe women need their own spaces to heal from male violence, and we fully support the protection of single sex spaces and services for that reason. As such, all our female only groups, services and spaces strictly apply the single sex exemption under Schedule 3, part 7 of the Equality Act 2010, meaning they are open to females only.
Our community one to one and helpline services are open to all including, female, male and those who identify as transgender and non-binary.
The latest exit data from our services shows that:
Feel safer after working with us
Feel their quality of life has improved
Feel confident in accessing support in the future
